Jacket- Columbus Depot

Each man should have a Columbus Depot Jacket. Copied from a surviving original. Made from a period correct pattern and period correct materials.

Trousers-

Each man should have a Confederate military, western theater pattern pair of trousers. Made from a period correct pattern and period correct materials. You should have a period correct pair of drawers.

Headgear-

Each man should have a civilian style slouch hat, made from various colors, styles and of period correct materials.

Columbus/Montgomery Depot Kepi are also acceptable.

Footwear-

Each man should have a Confederate issue or civilian style pair of shoes.

A secondary option is a pair of Federal issue brogans or Federal infantry boots. Must have period correct confederate issue socks.

Canteen and Haversack

Each man should have a tin drum canteen or a period correct wood Gardner pattern canteen with correct cloth or leather strap.

Each man should have a functioning period correct haversack made from white cotton osnaburg or a painted style haversack. Complete with all personal items.

Western Confederate Depot Accoutraments-

Each man should have a complete set of Western theater depot accoutraments. Waist belt, cap pouch, cartridge box (with or without strap.), and scabbard.

Knapsack or Bedroll-

Each man should have a period correct confederate knapsack. This should include a confederate issue blanket or British import blanket. period correct confederate painted ground cloth and any other personal items. Bedrolls are also acceptable.

Weapons-

Each man should have an 1853 Enfield Rifle Musket or Austrian Lorenz Rifle Musket. Complete with proper fitting bayonet.

Each man should strive to research and attend the with a thoroughly put together impression. We will personally inspect each mans kit during our company inspections. Leave the modern items behind and come willing and ready to immerse yourself entirely.
